Location: Oldbury

Home Size: Brand New 3-Bed EBD Children's Home

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme (including Registration Bonus)

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting
  • Previous experience managing Ofsted inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of children’s residential care regulations and safeguarding practices
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the children's home
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Promote positive outcomes and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
  • Manage safeguarding, care planning, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care and service delivery
  • Build positive relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for achieving and maintaining a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating
