Purosearch are working with a developing care provider who specialise in nursing and residential care services for the elderly and those with dementia.

We are looking for an experienced nursing home manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care, committed to excellence. If you have a proven track record in nursing home management and a desire to shape the future of care, we want to hear from you.

The service is based just outside of Glossop, over 50 beds with 95% occupancy, the service specialises in dementia care. The Regional Manager is looking for a registered nurse manager or an experienced registered manager who has previously managed a large clinical team.

What You’ll Do

As the Nursing Home Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, leadership, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational leadership to the care home team
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Promote a positive, caring environment aligned with Care UK’s values
  • Drive performance and quality improvements
  • Manage budgets effectively and deliver strong commercial performance
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, external agencies, and the local community

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3+ years’ experience as a Home Manager
  • Proven leadership in residential and dementia care for older people
  • Management of a 45+ bed nursing home previously
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health & Safety legislation
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
