The Role
We are seeking an experienced ANP, ACP or Paramedic Practitioner to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be confident in autonomous clinical practice, managing a wide range of acute, minor illness and long-term condition presentations. You will work independently while contributing to the wider team, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations
- Undertake clinical decision‐making including independent prescribing (where applicable)
- Manage acute, urgent and same‐day care needs
- Support chronic disease management and contribute to QOF targets
- Perform examinations, order and interpret investigations, and develop management plans
- Provide high-quality documentation, safety‐netting and follow‐up
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, escalating appropriately when required
- Participate in practice clinical meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement
Essential Requirements
- Registered ANP/ACP or HCPC‐registered Paramedic with appropriate postgraduate qualification
- Proven experience in primary care, urgent care or similar autonomous environment
- Ability to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients independently
- Independent Prescriber qualification (V300) – or working towards
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills
- Up‐to‐date with mandatory training and evidence of continued professional development
Desirable Skills
- Experience with EMIS Web
- Chronic disease management competencies
- Confidence in minor illness and minor injury
- Ability to support and mentor junior clinical staff
