A well-established and highly respected GP training practice in Milton Keynes is seeking an outstanding Practice Nurse to join its dedicated and forward-thinking clinical team. The Practice Nurse will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality primary care services and will work closely with GPs, trainee doctors, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff. - Management of chronic diseases including asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, and coronary heart disease
- Running nurse-led clinics and reviews in line with QOF and clinical guidelines
- Cervical cytology, women’s health, and family planning services
- Childhood and adult immunisations and vaccination programmes
- Wound care, leg ulcer management, and minor injury care
- NHS Health Checks and health promotion clinics
- Supporting infection prevention and control standards
- Contributing to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and governance
- Supporting and mentoring learners within the training practice environment, where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records using GP clinical systems
- Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes

- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
- Previous experience working in primary care as a Practice Nurse, or strong transferable experience
- Competence in chronic disease management and immunisations

- A professional, flexible, and proactive approach to workload
