REGISTERED MANAGER β ADULT SOCIAL CARE
Are you an experienced Registered Manager, Service Manager, Care Home Manager, Supported Living Manager, Learning Disabilities Care Manager or Adult Social Care Manager looking for your next opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to lead two small adult social care services supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across Manchester and Rochdale.
The role covers an established residential care home currently rated Requires Improvement and a newly registered supported living service preparing for its first CQC inspection.
With Deputy Managers and Team Leaders already in place, this is a genuine senior management role focused on CQC compliance, quality improvement, safeguarding, leadership and service development β not covering the care rota.
THE ROLE
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Take overall responsibility for both CQC-registered care services.
- Lead and develop Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and care teams.
- Drive improvement from Requires Improvement to Good and beyond.
- Prepare the supported living service for its first CQC inspection.
- Maintain high standards of CQC compliance, quality assurance and safeguarding.
- Embed person-centred care and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Lead services supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, including people with behaviours of concern.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, incidents and complaints.
- Manage recruitment, supervision, training and staff development.
- Oversee staffing, budgets, performance and operational delivery.
- Build strong relationships with families, social workers, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
- Support appropriate referrals and safe transitions into the services.

You will have:
- Management experience within adult social care.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience managing a residential care home, supported living or learning disability service.
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and inspections.
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and behaviours of concern.
- Strong leadership, people-management and organisational skills.
- Experience in safeguarding, quality improvement and risk management.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and positive outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence β essential.
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
- Β£40,000 β Β£60,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Up to Β£6,000 CQC performance bonus.
- Β£500 bonus for each new referral successfully settled into the service.
