The Care Home Manager / Registered Manager Role

As our new Residential Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational, clinical and commercial performance of the home.

As Care Home Manager, you will lead an experienced multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of person‑centred care while maintaining excellent compliance with CQC regulations.

The successful Registered Manager will inspire the team, develop future leaders and ensure the home continues to achieve outstanding standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day operation of the luxury care home.
  • Ensure exceptional resident care and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver outstanding leadership across all departments.
  • Maintain full CQC compliance.
  • Drive occupancy and financial performance.
  • Manage recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
  • Oversee quality assurance and clinical governance.
  • Develop and mentor department leaders.

As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for regulatory compliance, safeguarding, staffing, quality standards and overall service performance.

  • Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Residential Home Manager within elderly care.
  • Current or previous experience as a Care Home Manager.
  • Experience working as a Registered Manager in a CQC‑regulated service.
  • Proven success managing residential or nursing homes.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards.
  • Experience improving occupancy and quality ratings.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Recruitment and staff development experience.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent) desirable.
