The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and regulatory compliance of our home care service. This Homecare Manager position offers you the opportunity to shape and deliver compassionate, person-centred care that empowers people to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of coordinators, supervisors, and carers as an effective domiciliary care manager.
- Ensure full CQC compliance and maintain Good or Outstanding inspection ratings.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of care staff.
- Develop care plans and monitor the quality of service as a proactive homecare manager.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and local authorities.
- Drive business growth and maintain high standards of care delivery.
About You
To succeed as a Domiciliary Care Manager or Homecare Manager, you must have:
- Proven domiciliary care experience in a management or senior leadership position.
- Experience of managing a Dom Care service providing at least 4000 hours of care.
- An NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management) or be working towards it.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in home care.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care.
You will be a confident, hands‐on domiciliary care manager who thrives on responsibility and leading by example.
