The Registered Manager is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to join their leadership team and help maintain the highest standards of care for all residents.
As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring outstanding care delivery and regulatory compliance. You will provide leadership and support to the care team while promoting a positive culture focused on resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in the effective management of the home.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations and relevant legislation.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care, safety, and documentation.
- Assist with staff recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management.
- Support care planning, risk assessments, and resident reviews.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Act as the manager in the Registered Manager's absence.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, independence, and choice for all residents.
We are looking for a caring and dedicated professional who has:
- Previous experience in a senior role within a residential care setting.
- Experience supporting individuals living with dementia.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of CIW regulations and best practice in social care.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (essential).
- Level 4 or 5 Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one (desirable).
