We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to join a friendly team in their 38-bed residential care home specialising in dementia care.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing care provider with ambitious plans for the future. you'll play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to deliver exceptional, person-centred care while helping to shape a positive culture for both residents and colleagues.
About the Role
As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the home operates safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory standards.
You will lead by example, support the day-to-day management of the service, and inspire the team to provide outstanding care for people living with dementia.
You will also have the opportunity to deputise in the Home Manager's absence, making this an ideal role for someone looking to progress their management career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall management and daily operation of the home.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the care team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
- Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for every resident.
- Assist with staff supervision, recruitment, induction, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and company policies.
- Support care planning, risk management, audits, and quality assurance processes.

About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience in a senior role within a residential care home.
- Experience supporting people living with dementia.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A thorough understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
- Good knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care as a minimum (Level 5 or willingness to work towards it is desirable).
