Our client is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Occupational Health Technicians to join their growing mobile health surveillance team. In this role, you will travel throughout the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) and delivering high-quality occupational health surveillance services directly at client sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out health surveillance assessments, including audiometry, spirometry (lung function testing), and baseline health measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
- Accurately record clinical information and ensure all documentation is completed and communicated to the appropriate occupational health professionals.
- Maintain, clean, and check all equipment to ensure it remains safe, operational, and fit for purpose.
- Support health promotion initiatives and assist with additional occupational health activities as required.
- Collect and record biometric and health surveillance data to support clinical decision-making by occupational health nurses and physicians.
- Contribute to the effective delivery of occupational health services by providing accurate and timely information to the wider clinical team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A good understanding of GDPR and the importance of handling confidential information appropriately.
- The ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- A professional, approachable manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using initiative and working autonomously when required.
- A full manual UK driving licence is essential.
