Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
A well‑respected care provider is looking for a passionate and experienced nursing home manager for their 50 bed service, which is preparing to open its doors! You will be supported by a quality team to ensure you can achieve your goals! Nursing home specialising in elderly and dementia care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of staff.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans.
- Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Demonstrable experience in commissioning a service / registering a service with CQC / turning a service around.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Financial management experience.
- Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Passion for person‑centred care.
- Enthusiastic and ambitious character.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification is advantageous, and management of a medium‑large nursing home.
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a nursing home or healthcare setting.
- Relevant management or leadership qualifications are desirable.
