- Successful Candidates Will Have
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards, if applicable).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a minimum of two years' experience as a Deputy Manager ready to progress.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, children's legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Experience working within trauma-informed and therapeutic care environments.
- Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- A child-centred approach with a passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people.
- Full UK driving licence (if required by the organisation).
- Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide full operational leadership and management of the children's home.
- Lead, support and develop the care team to deliver outstanding care.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies and procedures.
- Liaise effectively with education providers and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Promote the home with internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce reports and performance data in line with organisational KPIs.
- Drive service quality, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people.
- Contribute to wider organisational projects and development initiatives.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide management support when required.
