Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + benefits
A small, person-focussed, care provider are looking for a passionate nursing home manager for their 25-bed service which is CQC rated 'Good'! We're open to well experienced deputies as well as previously CQC registered candidates. You will be supported by a quality team to ensure you can achieve your goals! Nursing home specialising in elderly and dementia care
A Nursing PIN is required for this role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of staff
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans
- Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Financial management experience
- Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and empathy
- Proven turnaround experience
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification is required
- 3+ years as a deputy or previous experience as a CQC registered / nursing home manager
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a nursing home or healthcare setting
- Relevant management or leadership qualifications are desirable
