We are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager / Care Home Manager to take overall responsibility for a well-established care home in Fareham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving or maintaining a Good or Outstanding CQC rating.
The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will provide strong, visible leadership and take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management, quality and performance of the home.
You will lead and develop the team while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and genuinely person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management and leadership of the home.
- Maintaining excellent CQC, care and operational standards.
- Leading, motivating and developing care and nursing teams.
- Managing recruitment, induction, supervision and performance.
- Overseeing care plans, medication, safeguarding, audits and quality assurance.
- Managing staffing, budgets, occupancy and resources.
- Building strong relationships with residents, relatives and professionals.
- Working effectively with CQC and other external stakeholders.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvements.
- Creating a positive, supportive and high-performing care environment.
About You
We are looking for an established Registered Manager or Care Home Manager with a strong track record of successfully managing a care service.
Essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Care Home Manager or Nursing Home Manager.
- Proven experience managing a service rated Good or Outstanding by CQC.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing, developing and motivating care teams.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, audits and risk management.
- Genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
- Nursing Qualification
You do not need to be a Registered Nurse to apply.
A nursing qualification or clinical background would be advantageous but is not essential.
