We are recruiting an experienced Residential Care Home Manager to lead a fully compliant, high-quality residential care home in Fareham, Hampshire. The Role – Residential Care Home Manager (Fareham)
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational, regulatory, and quality performance of the home. You will lead a settled team, maintain high standards of care, and ensure continued Good CQC compliance. This is not a turnaround role — the home is already performing well and needs a manager who can maintain standards, support staff, and continue positive momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of the residential care home
- Act as CQC Registered Manager
- Maintain and enhance CQC compliance and safeguarding standards
- Lead, support, and develop an established care team
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred residential care
- Oversee staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and KPIs
- Maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, and professionals
- Ensure ongoing inspection readiness and quality assurance
About You – Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Residential Care Home Manager / Care Home Manager
- Strong CQC track record, ideally with Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes
- Solid knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and residential care standards
- Confident, supportive leader with excellent people-management skills
- Organised, approachable, and quality-focused
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care in a positive environment
- Right to work in the UK
