Hours: Full-time | Monday to Thursday | 8:30am – 4:30pm

The role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Occupational Health Technician to join a friendly multidisciplinary team based on-site in Dunfermline, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a healthcare, emergency services, fitness, or military background who enjoys working independently while delivering high-quality occupational health services. You'll play a key role in supporting employee health and wellbeing through health surveillance, screening, and health promotion activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting baseline health assessments, including height and weight measurements, blood pressure checks, urinalysis.
  • Performing health surveillance assessments such as audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol testing.
  • Accurately recording medical information and ensuring results are passed to clinical colleagues for review.
  • Maintaining and checking clinical equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and fit for purpose.
  • Monitoring equipment performance where required.
  • Working within established protocols and recognising when clinical queries should be escalated.
  • Supporting health promotion initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
  • Assisting with non-clinical duties such as filing, stock management, and maintaining clinical areas.
  • Providing support with additional activities within your competence, such as First Aid training.
  • Following company policies, procedures, and professional standards at all times.

About You

There is no formal professional qualification required for this position. We welcome applications from individuals with transferable healthcare or emergency response experience.
