The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and service delivery.
You will provide visible, supportive leadership, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding person-centred care while maintaining the home's excellent reputation within the local community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
- Ensuring consistently high standards of clinical care, resident safety and wellbeing.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance and preparing for inspections.
- Driving continuous improvement in care quality, governance and operational performance.
- Building positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff and external professionals.
- Managing budgets, occupancy and resources effectively.
- Creating a positive, supportive culture where residents feel valued and staff feel empowered.
About You
We are looking for an established care leader who combines strong operational management skills with genuine compassion and a commitment to excellence.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a senior leadership role within a care home setting.
- The relevant nursing qualification and current professional registration, where required for the position.
- A strong understanding of care home regulations, clinical governance and quality assurance.
- A proven ability to lead, develop and retain a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care and maintaining high standards.
