Responsibilities
- Full management of a nursing home including clinical, operational, and commercial performance
- Leadership and development of nursing, care, and support teams
- Oversight of nursing care and clinical care delivery
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high inspection ratings
- Drive quality, safety, and person-centred care standards
- Manage staffing levels, budgets, occupancy, and financial performance
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Care Home Manager within a nursing home (essential)
- Strong knowledge of nursing and clinical care delivery
- Experience managing CQC-regulated services
- Confident leader with excellent people management skills
- Ability to drive quality improvement and positive inspection outcomes
Qualifications (Preferred but Not Essential)
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
- Active NMC PIN
- Candidates without nursing qualifications will still be considered if they have demonstrable nursing home management experience and clinical knowledge.
