We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager / Area Manager to oversee five nursing homes in Dorset. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a RGN or RMN qualified nurse with strong experience in nursing home management, multi-site operations, CQC compliance and clinical governance. This role is ideal for an experienced Area / Regional / Operations Manager or a high-performing Nursing Home Manager ready to step up.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational and clinical leadership across multiple nursing homes
- Line management, coaching and performance oversight of Home Managers
- Ensure consistent CQC compliance, safeguarding, MCA & DoLS across all services
- Drive quality improvement, innovation and best practice, including technology-enabled care
- Lead service improvement, turnaround and performance management where required
- Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets and operational KPIs
- Build strong relationships with CQC, commissioners, MDTs, residents and families
- Ensure outstanding, person-centred care is delivered at all times
Essential Requirements (Must-Have)
- RGN or RMN qualified (NMC registered)
- Proven experience in Nursing Home Management
- Experience in multi-site, area, regional or operations management or nursing home managers looking to step up
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and safeguarding
- Track record of delivering high-quality care and positive CQC outcomes
- Commercial and operational awareness
- Passion for innovation, digital systems and modern care delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills
