Senior Children's Residential Care Worker – Doncaster
Salary: £35,848–£38,028 per annum
Hours: 173 hours per month | 2 days on, 4 days off, including sleep-ins

- Hourly rate of £13.80–£14.85 depending on qualifications

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK without restrictionsStrong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- A therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Applicants must be aged 21 or over
- Nurturing, supportive and resilient approach with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to young people within a nurturing residential environment
- Build positive relationships and empower young people to flourish and achieve their potential
- Support young people's educational, emotional and developmental needs
- Provide trauma-informed, therapeutic care and crisis intervention
- Encourage young people to engage in hobbies, interests and personalised activities
- Promote independence, positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure young people's needs are met
- Promote equality, inclusion and respect while challenging discriminatory behaviour or practice
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care and compliance with Ofsted expectations
- Successful employment is subject to enhanced DBS, right-to-work and reference checks, with DBS costs covered
