Clinical Registered Manager - Complex Care / Neurocare / ABI

We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Registered Manager to lead specialist care services in Cheshire, supporting people with complex care needs, acquired brain injury (ABI) and neurological conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Clinical Manager, Registered Manager, Care Home Manager or Complex Care Manager with strong clinical and leadership experience within ABI, Neurocare or Complex Care.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high clinical standards, excellent person-centred care, strong team performance and full compliance with CQC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the care and clinical teams.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, complex care and safeguarding.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the service.
  • Oversee care planning, clinical practice, risk management and service quality.
  • Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively.
  • Recruit, develop and retain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture.
  • Ensure the people supported remain at the heart of all decisions.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership and ensure excellent service performance.

About You - Essential Requirements

You MUST be a Registered Nurse with previous experience in ABI, Neurocare, Complex Care, neurological care or a similar specialist care environment.

You should have

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RN).
  • At least 5 years' post-registration experience.
  • Previous management or senior leadership experience within health or social care.
  • Proven experience working with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), neurological conditions, Neurocare or Complex Care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
  • Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary or specialist care teams.
  • Excellent clinical leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing and resources.
  • A confident, proactive and approachable leadership style.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A strong commitment to person-centred care and positive outcomes.
