Successful Applicant:
- Holds a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification in Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent)
- Experienced in managing or deputising within a children's residential home
- Background supporting children with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Confident leading teams and driving positive outcomes for young people
- Able to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people
- Committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care and maintaining regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of a 4-bed children's residential home
- Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing staff team
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice standards
- Promote positive outcomes and individualised care plans for children and young people aged 8-18
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for residents
- Manage budgets, staffing and operational performance effectively
- Build positive relationships with families, local authorities and external professionals
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain the home's strong reputation and standards
