Deputy Children’s Home Manager – Bradford
Salary: £36,000 – £39,000 per annum + £3,600 Sleep ins
Shift Pattern: 2 days on / 4 days off
We are proud to be working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded children’s residential care provider to recruit a Deputy Children’s Home Manager for their home in Bradford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to step into a leadership role, supporting the Registered Manager and helping shape the lives of children and young people in care.
What’s on offer:
- Salary of £36,000 – £39,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Full-time permanent contract with a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern.
- Ongoing training and support, including Level 5 qualification.

The role:
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, inspire and develop a team of dedicated residential childcare workers.
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and high standards of care.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting therapeutic and nurturing care.
- Contribute to care planning and safeguarding to ensure young people feel safe, valued, and supported.
About you:
- Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Significant experience within a residential childcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Compassionate, resilient and child-focused.
- Willingness to complete or already hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
