- Successful Candidates Will Have
- A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience within residential childcare.
- Proven multi-site management experience with a track record of improving services and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or willingness to complete).
- Extensive experience in staff leadership, performance management and financial management.
- In-depth knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using systems, data and structured processes.
- A supportive, calm and coaching leadership style.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight of specialist children's homes across the North West region.
- Lead, support and develop a team of Registered Managers.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance across all services.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and achieve the best possible outcomes for young people and local authorities.
- Manage budgets and ensure effective financial performance across the region.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, professional bodies and stakeholders.
- Champion a therapeutic, child-centred approach to care, promoting high warmth and high control practices.
- Support services with challenging placements and drive positive change and service development.
- Monitor performance, quality standards and compliance to ensure outstanding service delivery.
