An established and growing care provider is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of six care homes across the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager or Regional Manager within the care home sector to join a supportive organisation focused on delivering high-quality care, strong operational performance, and positive regulatory outcomes.
The Role
As Regional Manager, you will provide operational leadership and strategic oversight across a group of homes. You will support Home Managers to deliver safe, high-quality care while driving occupancy, team development, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure homes operate efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and maintain a strong culture focused on residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational performance of six care homes within the region
- Support and develop Home Managers to achieve high standards of care and regulatory compliance
- Monitor and improve CQC performance, quality standards, and governance across services
- Drive occupancy levels, financial performance, and operational efficiency
- Provide leadership and support during CQC inspections, audits, and regulatory processes
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational development
- Support commissioning of new services or home expansions where required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Regional Manager or Operations Manager within the care home sector
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality governance
- Proven ability to lead and support multiple care homes and Home Managers
- Track record of improving operational performance and inspection outcomes
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience supporting commissioning or service development would be beneficial
Location
