Care Home Manager - Bury - £40,000

As Care Home Manager, you will have the opportunity to get to know residents personally, build meaningful relationships with families and develop a strong, caring team around them.

Your Role as Care Home Manager

As the Care Home Manager in Bury, you will take responsibility for the overall management, leadership and quality of the home.

You will lead the care team and ensure residents receive consistently high standards of care, while creating a positive and supportive environment for staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the care home
  • Leading, motivating and developing the care team
  • Ensuring excellent person-centred care for every resident
  • Maintaining high standards of care, dignity, safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and professionals
  • Monitoring care plans, medication and clinical or care‑related processes
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and standards
  • Completing audits and driving continuous quality improvement
  • Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision and staff development
  • Creating a positive, compassionate and high-performing team culture
  • Working towards an Outstanding CQC rating
  • Ensuring residents' choices, preferences and individual needs remain at the heart of care delivery

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Care Home Manager who understands what outstanding care looks and feels like.

You may currently be working as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Care Manager and be ready to take your next career step.

You should have:

  • Previous management experience within a residential or nursing care setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Experience leading and developing care teams
