Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the home.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and resident wellbeing.
  • Lead, support, and develop the care and nursing teams.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
  • Manage staffing, quality assurance, audits, and occupancy.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders.

  • Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Previous management experience within a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Extensive experience supporting elderly residents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.

Desirable

  • Active NMC Pin (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, or Care Home Manager.
