An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Director to join a growing provider of EBD children’s residential services in West Yorkshire. This is a senior leadership role with clear growth plans, offering both strategic influence and strong financial reward.
The Role
- Provide operational and strategic leadership across 2 established EBD children’s homes, with expansion to 4 homes
- Lead, mentor, and develop Registered Managers and senior teams
- Drive quality, safeguarding, and outcomes for children and young people
- Ensure all homes meet and exceed Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
- Play a key role in the registration and launch of new homes
- Oversee performance, compliance, staffing, and budgets across the portfolio
The Package
- £75,000 basic salary
- £6,000 performance-related bonus (£81,000 OTE)
- Additional £6,000 per annum once two further homes are successfully registered
About You
- Proven senior operational experience within children’s residential care (EBD essential)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality frameworks
- Experience supporting new home registrations and service growth
- Inspirational leader with a hands‑on, values‑led approach
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance quality care and operational performance
