About the Role
As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring residents receive consistently high standards of person‑centred care.
You will:
- Lead, support and motivate the care team
- Maintain excellent standards of care and resident wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with CQC and relevant legislation
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, medication and quality assurance
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families
- Support staff recruitment, training, supervision and development
- Monitor and improve standards across the home
- Work closely with the senior management team
- Promote a positive, caring and supportive culture
About You
We are looking for an experienced
Residential Care Home Manager who has:
- Proven experience managing an elderly residential care home
- Excellent leadership and people‑management skills
- A good understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for person‑centred care
- The ability to lead an established team in a supportive and approachable manner
Strong knowledge and understanding of dementia care
A nursing qualification would be beneficial but is not essential
