About the Role
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident wellbeing. You will lead an experienced team, maintain excellent relationships with residents and families, and drive continuous improvements throughout the home.
This role would suit an experienced Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, or Registered Manager looking to join a quality-focused organisation that genuinely values its people and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational management of the care home.
- Leadership and development of care, nursing, and support teams.
- Ensuring outstanding standards of elderly care and resident experience.
- Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and industry best practice.
- Managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and overall home performance.
- Supporting recruitment, retention, and staff development.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- Driving quality improvements and maintaining excellent care outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, or Home Manager.
- Strong background in elderly care and residential care services.
- Proven experience managing a care home environment.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver exceptional standards of care.
Qualifications
- Essential: NVQ Level 4 or NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, Leadership and Management, or equivalent.
- Desirable: Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) is welcome but not required.
