We are excited to recruit an experienced and passionate Dual Children’s Home Manager to lead two newly registered 2-bed EBD children’s homes in Birmingham. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-quality services from the very beginning and to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
The Role
As Dual Children’s Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of both homes, ensuring outstanding care and positive outcomes for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Full operational management of two residential children’s homes
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Leading, motivating, and developing staff teams across both homes
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people
- Managing budgets, rotas, and care planning
- Driving a positive culture focused on safeguarding, stability, and progression
About You
We are looking for a confident and resilient leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care. You will ideally have:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
- Proven experience managing an Ofsted-registered children’s home
- Strong knowledge of EBD and complex needs
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A child-centred, values-driven approach
