Are you an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) looking for a permanent role in Birmingham?
We are recruiting for an established healthcare provider looking to appoint an ANP / ACP to join a supportive multidisciplinary clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner who enjoys autonomous working and is looking for a 33-hour working week, excellent benefits and ongoing professional development.
The ANP / ACP Role
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will independently assess and manage patients presenting with a range of acute, minor illness and ongoing healthcare needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting autonomous patient consultations
- Taking patient histories and completing clinical assessments
- Examination, diagnosis and treatment
- Managing minor illness and minor injuries
- Prescribing medication within your scope of practice
- Developing appropriate treatment and management plans
- Referring patients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Working closely with GPs, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Supporting the delivery of safe, effective and patient-focused care
ANP / ACP Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
- NMC registration
- Experience working as an ANP, ACP or Advanced Practitioner
- Primary Care, General Practice, Urgent Care or similar clinical experience
- Strong autonomous clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Minor illness and minor injury experience
- Independent Prescribing qualification or be working towards this
- Advanced Clinical Practice qualification at Level 7 / MSc is desirable
Candidates currently completing an appropriate Advanced Clinical Practice MSc/ACP pathway may also be considered.
