An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a forward-thinking and supportive GP Practice in Accrington, Lancashire.
Salary: £57,528 - £64,750 per year + bonus and excellent benefits.

The ANP / ACP Role
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will work autonomously while being fully supported by the wider clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients
- Managing acute and minor illness
- Independent prescribing and medication management
- Managing patients with long-term conditions
- Requesting and interpreting appropriate investigations
- Making referrals where required
- Working closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Supporting elderly and vulnerable patients
- Providing high-quality, patient-centred care
Requirements To be considered for this ANP / ACP position, you should have:
- NMC registration for nursing applicants
- Master's degree / Master's-level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Independent Prescribing qualification
- Experience working autonomously at Advanced Practitioner level
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine commitment to high-quality patient care
- Experience within General Practice, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Walk-in Centres or a similar autonomous clinical setting would be highly desirable.
