Job Type: Temporary contract until June 2026
Pay: $20.92 / hr.
Customer Service Orientation
- Serving our customers efficiently and courteously over the phone and in person, including up-selling and cross-selling corporate products and services.
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries, problem solving, and working to resolve shipment, equipment, and technology challenges.
- Collaborating with Head Office, management, drivers, warehousing staff, and other partners to ensure excellent customer service.
- Building positive relationships with customers, vendors, tenants, and key contacts.
- Assisting customers with shipping details and account issues using technology.
- Loading, scanning, logging, and resolving freight issues.
Responsibilities
- Communicating positively with all stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Taking personal responsibility and accountability for actions.
- Adhering to corporate policies, safety standards, and uniform requirements.
- Being punctual and reliable.
- Living the Purolator values and representing them to customers and partners.
- Focusing on customer service, problem solving, relationship building, and technology use.
- Having 3-12 months of customer service, retail, and POS system experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for 3-hour intervals.
- Exhibiting professional communication, listening, and attention to detail skills.
- Experience working independently and in teams, with safety standards is an asset.
