Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 1:30am to 9:00am, Thursday and Friday: 2:00am to 9:00am (34 hours/week)

Starting Pay Rate: $21.26/hour

Location: 1 Cuddy Ct, London, ON

Description: The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
  • Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
  • Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
  • Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
  • Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

Education Experience: Specialized education is not required. No experience necessary.

Skills: Distribution Centers, Physical Efforts - Sorting, Reaching, Standing, Physical strength - Lifting/Lowering up to 70 pounds, Manual dexterity.

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
