The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a variety of owner-managed businesses. You’ll be working closely with clients, helping them understand and manage their financial data while also building strong, long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Producing management accounts and VAT returns
- Accurately processing financial records and bookkeeping entries
- Liaising with clients to support with financial queries and administrative tasksUsing accounting software packages including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and IRIS (experience in any is advantageous)
- Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and client service
You
- Qualified AAT or actively studying ACA/ACCA
- Previous experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive team player with a client-focused approach
