Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns, providing tax planning advice, and managing client relationships.
- Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary.
- Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/AAT part qualified or fully qualified with at least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience (QBE will also be considered).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience of managing and mentoring junior members of staff.
