We're looking to welcome a Semi Senior Accountant to our team.
This role is ideal for someone with around three or more years' experience working within an accountancy practice who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
You'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, assisting with accounts preparation, tax compliance and day-to-day client support while building on your existing experience.

The Role as part of our team, you'll be involved in
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Producing VAT returns and management accounts.
- Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
- Assisting with audit assignments where required.
- Supporting bookkeeping and payroll activities.
- Communicating with clients to answer queries and provide ongoing accounting support.
- Working alongside senior members of the team to ensure client deadlines are met.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- At least three years' recent experience within an accountancy practice.
- A good understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
- Experience using cloud-based and desktop accounting software such as Xero, Sage or IRIS.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage workloads effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A professional and approachable manner when dealing with clients.
