Role Overview

This role involves managing a varied caseload of family law matters while supervising and supporting junior team members. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality legal services, particularly in legally aided matters, while ensuring strong client care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality client care to vulnerable individuals and families
  • Manage a caseload including non-molestation orders, Child Arrangements Orders, divorce, and private children matters
  • Prepare legal documentation such as court applications, witness statements, bundles, and briefs for counsel
  • Manage files efficiently using the Leap case management system
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and liaise with counsel
  • Advise clients and progress cases with courts and relevant professionals
  • Manage Legal Aid applications via CCMS, ensuring compliance
  • Meet or exceed billing targets and contribute to financial performance
  • Supervise and support paralegals and administrative staff
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities in line with business needs
