Puro Associates are happy to be working with a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Glasgow city centre on their search for a Payroll Manager to join their Practice and run their payroll department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Manager who is seeking a new challenge within a supportive accountancy practice.
Responsibilities of a Payroll Manager:
- You will be responsible for running the payroll department, with around 120 payrolls.
- Process starters, leavers, holiday pay, statutory payments & earnings arrestment’s.
- All aspects of automatic enrolment – setting up new pension schemes, assessing employees, processing pension deductions, uploading pension contributions to relevant pension providers and submitting all information required by the Pensions Regulator before any deadlines.
- Liaising with clients regularly over telephone, email or in person to answer any payroll queries.
- Contacting HMRC when necessary to solve any payroll issues.
What we are looking for in our ideal Payroll Manager:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role in Practice.
- Experience in all aspects of end to end payroll.
- Knowledge of Payroll software.
