Litigation Solicitor – 12-Month FTC (Potential for Permanent Role)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join the firm’s busy Dispute Resolution team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of a permanent position at the end of the term.
The successful candidate will primarily handle civil property disputes, including matters such as :
- Boundary and ownership disputes
- Rights of way and easement issues
- Landlord and tenant disputes (residential and commercial)
- Trespass and nuisance claims
- Contractual and general civil litigation matters
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of property-related disputes from instruction through to resolution
- Advising clients on litigation strategy and alternative dispute resolution options
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents
- Conducting negotiations and representing clients in mediation or court proceedingsWorking collaboratively with colleagues across departments and providing support where required
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (ideally 2+ years PQE, though all levels considered)
- Strong experience in civil and property litigation
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload efficiently
- Team-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded
