We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established law firm for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team in Lincoln. This is an office-based role with the potential for hybrid-working, where you can take ownership of a varied caseload while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with new-build, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity matters
- Communicating regularly with clients, solicitors, estate agents, brokers and other stakeholders
- Reviewing searches, mortgage offers and title documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Preparing reports and providing clear updates and advice to clients
- Progressing matters through to exchange and completion
- Dealing with post-completion requirements and requisitions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring case management systems are kept up to date
- Carrying out appropriate due diligence and risk checks
- Working in accordance with relevant regulatory, AML and data protection requirements
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where required
About You
- Strong experience handling residential conveyancing files from start to finish
- Experience across both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
