Residential Conveyancer - Lincoln

Salary: Β£40,000 – Β£60,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established law firm for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team in Lincoln. This is an office-based role with the potential for hybrid-working, where you can take ownership of a varied caseload while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. The Role

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Dealing with new-build, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity matters
  • Communicating regularly with clients, solicitors, estate agents, brokers and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing searches, mortgage offers and title documentation
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Preparing reports and providing clear updates and advice to clients
  • Progressing matters through to exchange and completion
  • Dealing with post-completion requirements and requisitions
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring case management systems are kept up to date
  • Carrying out appropriate due diligence and risk checks
  • Working in accordance with relevant regulatory, AML and data protection requirements
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where required

About You

  • Strong experience handling residential conveyancing files from start to finish
  • Experience across both freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
  • A genuine investment in your own professional development
