  • Supporting fee earners throughout the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
  • Managing communications with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
  • Opening files and completing AML and client due diligence checks.
  • Requesting searches, title documents and redemption statements.
  • Reviewing and preparing conveyancing documentation.
  • Drafting and issuing contract packs.
  • Preparing replies to enquiries and requisitions.
  • Assisting with exchanges and completions.
  • Preparing completion statements and bills.
  • Maintaining accurate file records and updating the case management system.
  • Dealing with post-completion administration.
  • Proactively progressing transactions and keeping clients updated.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant within a residential property team.
  • Experience supporting freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
  • A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
  • Knowledge of AML and client verification requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting fee earners and clients.
  • Remortgages and Transfers of Equity.
  • FormEvo.
  • Legal case management systems.
  • 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days.
