Are you an experienced and qualified ACA or ACCA professional looking to advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? Our client, based in Chester, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their team.

Job Summary of the Audit Assistant Manager Job:

  • Review audit planning and fieldwork
  • Complete audit files.
  • Train and develop staff.
  • Raise fee notes.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts and hands-on assistance with audit assignments.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Oversee the workflow of the department.
  • Ensure timely meeting of client, Companies House, and HMRC deadlines.
  • Review financial statements for charities and SMEs.

Desired Skills of the Audit Assistant Manager Job:

  • Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified and hold practice experience
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in client interactions.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH AP, and CCH AA (preferred, but not essential; full training provided).
  • Attention to detail.
