Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm located in Bury in their search for a Bookkeeper to become part of their experienced and growing team of experts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients ranging from £1M - £10M in turnover
- Recording sales and purchase invoices
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Processing payroll journals
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Skilled in managing a client portfolio within a practice setting
- Capable of working autonomously and comfortable resolving inquiries and requesting information from clients
Requirements:
- Ideally hold a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a similar Bookkeeping position
- AAT qualified or looking to complete this or equivalent soon
- Have exposure with various software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and DEXT
- Hold good knowledge of VAT and the ability to apply VAT rules and regulations
