Responsibilities
- Review end of year accounts from senior accountants and client managers.
- Meet key clients on a regular basis.
- Ensure accounts and tax returns are submitted in line with compliance.
- Mentor colleagues from apprentice level through to accounts seniors and assist the accounts director in the management of the team on a day-to-day basis.
- Proactively monitor and help to resolve client issues, providing constructive input to colleagues.
- Manage client diary and workflow to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and within budget.
- Act as one of the main points of contact for accounts clients, keeping them informed of progress in relation to all aspects of service delivery and maintaining regular contact with them.
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ previous experience working within a UK accounting practice.
- ACCA or ACA qualification required.
- QBE candidates will also be considered for this position.
- Right to fully work in the UK.
