We are recruiting an experienced Senior Family Lawyer to join a high-performing and forward-thinking Family Law team based in Stamford. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-value matters, play a key role in regional growth, and support the development of junior colleagues. Some travel and occasional out-of-hours working will be required for business development and training.
The Role
Reporting to the Partners, you will manage a broad and high-quality family law caseload, including:
- High-net-worth financial remedy negotiations and proceedings
- Children Act proceedings
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- TOLATA claims
- Injunctive relief
- Elements of international family law
You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to business development—particularly across Stamford, Rutland and surrounding areas—while delivering excellent client care with minimal supervision. Specialisation within family law is encouraged.
About You
- Qualified Family Lawyer with 8–10+ years PQE
- Strong technical expertise across all areas of family law
- Proven experience handling HNW financial and children matters
- Confident communicator with clients, referrers and colleagues
- Proactive, commercially aware and engaged in business development
- A supportive team player with experience supervising junior lawyers
