The Role:

The Accounts Senior will be responsible for:

• Preparing and finalising accounts for a variety of clients
• Completing VAT returns within agreed deadlines
• Undertaking bookkeeping tasks as required
• Identifying and suggesting improvements to client systems and processes
• Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries in a professional manner
• Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of staff

You:

To be considered for the Accounts Senior position, you should:

• Hold an AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification (QBE will also be considered)
• Have at least four years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to manage their own time effectively and handle a busy workload
• Audit experience would be beneficial, though not essential
