Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients and support the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
- VAT returns.
- Bookkeeping and cloud accounting support.
- Liaise directly with clients and respond to queries.
- Support junior team members where appropriate.
- Assist with year-end and ad hoc projects.
Candidate Requirements:
- Open to candidates at Semi Senior or Senior level.
- Practice experience within an accountancy firm.
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
