An established claimant law firm is seeking a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join its expanding Personal Injury team.

Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of pre‑ and post‑litigated personal injury claims from instruction through to settlement, ensuring clients receive excellent service and practical legal advice throughout the claims process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of Employer's Liability, Public Liability, Road Traffic Accident, and Disease claims
  • Progressing claims from inception through to settlement or trial
  • Drafting legal documents including witness statements, schedules of loss and court documentation
  • Preparing and submitting claims through the MOJ Portal where appropriate
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, insurers and third parties
  • Reviewing liability and quantum evidence
  • Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with developments in personal injury law
  • Negotiating settlements and advising clients on litigation strategy
  • Maintaining excellent client care standards and file management procedures
  • Working towards individual and departmental performance targets

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 1-7 years PQE or equivalent litigation experience
  • Previous experience handling claimant personal injury matters
  • Strong litigation and case management skills
  • Excellent client care and communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and Pre‑Action Protocols
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
